A tiny math win for your week ✨

December 2nd

Hey Reader

It’s officially December over here — Thanksgiving was good, but hard, and we are doing our best to wrap up these last three weeks before Christmas break. 😊
I wanted to pop in with something simple and helpful for your week.

Here are a few easy things you can use:

  • December Freebie: I made a pretty little Pastel Watercolor digital notebook for you and your student.
Use it for notes, to-dos, vocabulary, reflections, or even a quiet-morning assignment!
👉Download it here - use code EMAILVIP to get it for free!

  • Quick math tip: Busy with December activities? Try doing just the notes + 5 practice problems this week instead of a full lesson. Really hone in on the number sense, having students explain HOW to solve the problem, and doing just a little bit each day. December brains focus better with smaller wins, and a little every day is better than long blocks every once in a while! Even doing just ONE practice problem a day can make a difference!

  • Resource spotlight: If you need something open-and-go, my middle school math activities work perfectly when energy is low and structure helps.

This Week’s Spotlight:
📌New Notebooks in the Shop!
Download my newest digital notebooks — perfect for light December work or journaling during break. Choose from

  • Starry Night (Lined)
  • Tropical Retro (Dot Grid)
  • Pastel Watercolor (Lined)
  • Pearly Rose (Lined)

I hope something in here makes your week feel lighter as we countdown to Christmas break. 💛

And friend, I know not all candy canes and mistletoe for everyone.

If this season is hard for you, know that you are seen and loved.

Something that caught me by surprise this year is how certain Christmas songs to be unexpected triggers…but praise God from whom all blessings flow, because He is here even in the hard!

Hit reply and tell me: What are you most looking forward to this season or how can I pray for you right now?

See you soon!
